Framed within the large-scale copper replica of the belvedere of Queenstown’s Empire Hotel from the Unsettling Queenstown exhibition at Design Tasmania, the Country | Collaborative Pathways to Connection & Respect panel discussion centred around how Country and First Nations perspectives are considered when designing.

Unsettling Queenstown was the Australia Pavilion exhibition at the 2023 Venice Architectural Biennale. The creative directors invited contributions to an Open Archive – a collation and a cross-section of tactics that Australian architects are using in their work that might point to processes of decolonisation of architecture.
